Go careful at Doune !

Everyone got their car ready ? No exhausts being held on by cable ties or any such silliness ?

Alan F . It's not too late . Sickie on the Friday and that leaves a weekend free ....

No jokes about exhaust and cable ties please!
I tried to get a 90deg ellbow and they are on a 4 week lead time .
To get things going I might just take the BMW rubber thingie and a 80mm tube for now. Don't think anyway that this is a disadvantage. As long the skinny bottom tube is in place there is no point to go any larger.

DawieM3 can't make it either due to personal circumstances I will put one extra lap in for him. (and an extra (beer)lap in the Pistenklause

Alan, I have persuaded my girlfriend to go on hols on her one and I will catch up with her after the Ringweekend! Make it happen. (but wouldn't do hooky myself)

P.S if any body has a copy of Windows '98 or
Windows 2000 with the serial No. please bring it
with them as I need to get my laptop running
properly. For the Motec you understand...

Uwe, are you really going to try and get this all done

All set. I checked the car over earlier in the week in preparation of Doune, and I promise to keep it on the black stuff.

Uwe, I've got some self-amalg tape for you as well!

Looking at the 10 day forecast, we might be well served to take umbrella's.

At the moment it looks like it will be a bit damp on Sat, Sun & Mon.

Have a great time guys, wish I could go but impossible due to work commitments, I'm up for the 2006 meet though! I will be at the Ring in July with a couple of friends, so looking forward to that.

After a year of ownership and an suspension upgrade, I am finally getting my M3 onto a track.

Ideally it would have been something with fewer corners than the Ring for my first time, but this weekend is an opportunity too good to miss....

However, with the words of caution from the more experienced forum members in mind, I would be very keen to do a lap or two in the passenger seat with someone who knew what they were doing before i got going myself. Apart from being prudent, it will be great fun!

I am arriving on Sunday Morining and after soaking up the atmosphere it would be great if someone wanted to show a ring newbie how it all worked.

Either way, looking forward to seeing cars, drivers and the ring on Sunday and Monday.

Cheers

Andrew

If we are going to all be there on Friday, then I'd say simply park in the Ring car park (there is only one ) and I'm sure as people arrive they will head down there for a few laps and catch up with everyone.

I'm happy to give passenger laps.

I only did three laps last year, but I'm more than willing to give passenger laps.

As Brian said, just get to the 'Ring car park and look for the M3's.
