Came across a German web site under the BMW section article talking about an EMW 340, apparently built in 1952. Does anybody know if this EMW had anything to do with BMW?

EMW was Eisenacher Motoren Werken - a BMW plant in East Germany which
after the war continued to use BMWs name and eventually changed it to
EMW when BMW complained. http://home.no.net/eisenach/index.html -

Thank you for that, any indication if values of these cars are anything like "normal" BMW's? One is for sale and seems reasonably cheap.
