I'M IN BOSTON MASS USA/LOCKED OUT. TRIED THE KEY IN DRIVERS

AND PASSENGER DOOR EVERY WHICH WAY, LIFTING THE HANDLE.

HOW DO I GET IN?

FOUND PREVIOUS POSTINGS ON "LOCKED OUT". WHAT'S A BOOTLID

AND BOOT LAMP WIRES? IN USA THE "TRUNK" (REAR) OR "HOOD" (FRONT).

Boot is English for trunk, the lid is the bit that closes to stop things falling out !

Bonnet is English for hood

Wing is English for fender

Engine is English for motor

"boot lamp wires" will almost certainly mean the number plate lamps ( no doubt called a licence plate over there ), if indeed you illuminate yours.

It never ceases to amaze me how insular you yanks are !

Welcome to the forum
