I have a 1972 3.0 CSA, which runs on carbs. I believe only a handful of these were made with fuel injection, but I have the parts from a 3.0 Si saloon to change the system over and I wondered if it would just be a matter of replacing the inlet part. Does anybody know if any further modifications need to be made to the engine to run a fuel injection system?

I would imagine there will be various sensors for engine temp., throttle position etc.

Fuel pump will probably be different (higher pressure) & there will be a return feed to the tank.

Not sure but compression ratios might be different too.

If you have the complete saloon you can compare differences.

Good luck.
