when my cat was replaced a few months back, a lot of the bits that broke up inside it found their way to the back box and lodged in there.  You can hear them if you grab the tail pipe and shake it.

I got 2 prices to replace the box (GSF €191 + VAT) & (Otto €240 + VAT).  With fitting that would be probably an extra €60-80.

Is it possible for the back box to be cut off and the broken bits shaken out of the box and then get the box welded back in.  I could get that done for about €60 which is a huge saving.
