Brake Fluid!
Just before I pour it in, thought I should check! 1989 5 2.5 i. Quote from the ‘owners handbook’ “Dash down to your value for money ‘BMW Dealer’ as if!! Information available at HALFORD’S. “Brake fluid! What does it do?”
So I bought a pot of HALFORD’S high performance Brake & Clutch Fluid ( DOT 5.1 non-silicone base) Which must not be used with said silicone based fluid or where mineral based fluids are specified!) So I sit there scratching my head wondering whether its ok to carry on pouring?
Can anyone help?
