just a quick post.
Stated my car tonight, and noticed the brakelights were on (no light in check panel) and wouldn't go off. Tried pumping the brake etc. turned car off and on, but lights still stayed on.
Must be a loose wire/connection or something easy but can't see wood for trees.
Any ideas on where I can start looking, colour of wires to do with brakes etc. Is there one that connects to a switch near the pedal?
All replies greatfuly recieved.

Possibly a sticking switch. Its mounted at the top of the brake pedal - you have to remove the panel above it.

Took panel off, switch was dangling. Looks like plastic clips that hold it onto bracket have snapped off. Have now fixed with some insulation tape and a bit of bodgin'.
Thanks.
