hi there all

i love the look of the 7 series, looking to buy a new car, am i day dreaming or is a 7 series an afordable car to run?? i have a budget of 8 grand which, looking through the auto trader site, will buy me a rather nice seven, but what about running costs, servicing, parts etc. i owned a 1990  530 i e34 in the past and that was quite affordable to run, can a seven be compared to the five ??? help !!!!!!!!!!

cheers

Well, sort of. Talk to Trevor at Grant's in Wellington 01823 662067 as he had a lovely Boston green 740i (P reg?) with all the extras but 170'000 miles. I think he wanted about £3500 and it runs and drives 100%. For this money, you've got a lot left over to run it and if it's okay at 170k it'll be okay at 250k! At this mileage, lots of bits will have been replaced as well.....
