Actually folks, I haven't been a fan of the 6 series in general.  I think the nose is too droopy, the rear is a mess and in chavriolet form it looks totally and utterly wrong.

But this, in the flesh, just looks so mean and purposeful it catches the eye immediately.  It looks fantastic.  The colour is Interlagos Blue Metallic.  The alloys are wonderful and the brakes are huge.

Can't wait till these things are popping up secondhand in a couple of years.

I heard of a guy who bought a new 750iL earlier this year for €140k. He
allegedly is looking to trade it against a Bentley Continental. He has
allegedly been allowed €90k for his 750iL. Another guy told me this story so
I dont know if its true or not. If it is, he has paid very dearly for the privilege
of driving his 750iL!!!!!!

Did he think it would hold its value better at trade in time?

Lads as I said above, I am not a fan of the six, particularly in cab form.  But in the flesh, the M6 looks a lot better than it does in pictures; it won't win any beauty parades but when you see it you will want one.  Trust me.  Go out there and check it out.

I was of the opinion that the new 5er and 6er were ugly but I must admit that they are really growing on me.
The new 6 hasn't got anywhere as nice a look as the original but it does have a nice presence on the road. I haven't seen the new M6 but Im sure it will look nice. Don't know about some of the kits for it though

Mind you, I really like the M6 that I found searching http://images.google.com/ - google images on page 2 (top right)
