Hi, Just wondering on any info. on activities and recommendations on IoW. Based in Ryde. Driving E24, E38 and E34. For one thing: shifting servicing garages and would value any recommendations on good mechanics/servicing folk! best wishes. Graeme

Many thanks Rhys. That's useful. Seems very few BMW Forum folk are here in IoW-land, and given that it costs us £50 to get a car over here from the mainland, no doubt if there are some it might save someone sometime a ferry trip.  PS: although I can recommend to all in Wessex Forum a drive around the island for anyone wanting to take their BMW on an challenging but attractive jaunt.

Near Southampton there is Silverlake garage. Biggest car dismantlers in the area with parts logged on their database. Very well organised. They are at Shedfield.

Thanks. Looks extensive. No 6ers at present by the looks but well worth a look indeed. PS: and, I must say, a very tactical tag line on your reply above, considering Pompey/Soton rivalry.
