my rear door has locked solid. The rest of the central locking system operates fine but the rear door mechanism shows no signs of life at all. There is limited access via the removal of interior door trim - any tips..
I suspect the relay may be the problem, where do I find it/replacement costs etc.

I would have presumed that the relay would control all locks so the problem is either wiring or something has siezed. You probably won't know until you remove the trim. Can you remove the wiring loom from the door and test the connectors?

My 5 year old was in the car when it locked looking guilty so I suspect he'd been playing with the door lock when it jammed. I'll have a go removing the trim again and try to release the rods

thanks for the advice

I have the same problem on the rear offside door. However its intermittent once every other month so it is difficult to trace if it is a problem with the wiring or door control. Very interested if you find a soloution.

Try the solution at this website. I used this method and it worked a treat. Sounds like it is the solenoid
