Why is it that people pay to go up tall buildings, then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?!

A few more thoughts of the day..

How does a man (or women) who drives a snow plough get to work?

To all vegies out there.. If you aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made of meat?

OK, iv'e started something here so here goes.....

IF Wyle.E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME rubbish, why didn't he just buy dinner?

Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dogs face, it will be annoyed, but when you put it in the car it sticks its head out of the window!!?

The speed of dark is faster than the speed of light..

Since nothing is supposed to be faster than the speed of light - but the speed of light is variable with respect to gravity (black holes). Since all you can see from a black hole is darkness, then it stands to reason the dark is reaching the earth - and your eyes - faster than the light, qed.. now all you have to do is calculate the speed of light, then add a bit.

(186,000 miles per sec I believe)

If a tree fell over in the forest, and there was no one there to see and hear it fall, would it still make a noise?

Speed of light is only constant in a vacuum at 186,282.397 miles per second.

Where it travels through any medium it will be reduced by a ratio relative to the refractive index of that medium.

My views expressed are just that.

@ Rhys, Yes but when it starts to change from light to dark is that because the light is moving away faster to expose the dark or is it the dark moving towards you faster to extinguish the light. The black hole is an area of huge gravitational force that sucks light in and then it goes dark so is there a reverse of that ie. a white hole or am I talking out of my a$$hole

Dark doesn't have a speed because it is merely an absense of light. I suppose you could say that it travels at the same speed as light becuase it appears at the same speed light disappears

Yes!

Did you know there was a man who finally figured out what makes women tick?

Unfortunately he died laughing before he could tell anyone!
