Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the central bore size of E39 v E34 wheels. I have just bought some E39's and the central bore seems a tiny bit bigger than my E34's which of course means that the wheel bolts will be doing all the work.

I know you can get plastic spacer rings for aftermarket wheels which allow wheels to fit different bore sizes by can you get them for E39 wheels to fit onto an E34?

Cheers Andy

Give wheelmania.co.uk a try. Very helpful and can supply spacers as required.

Thanks for the reply. I managed to get some from Castle Wheels down here in Bournemouth.

Just joined this forum.

I have E39 wheel on my E34.  For best part of a year, the car vibrated slightly at 55-70 MPH.  Then I too realised what you have discovered.

There is a marginal difference in bore size, easily resolved by plastic spigot rings.  They cost me £2.00 each, which is a rip off for what they are, but fantastic value for what they do.

Most alloy wheel dealers should be able to source them for you.

Regards
