Hi Everyone - Don't for get, Tuesday 7th February is the date for our 2nd midweek Manchester pub meet in 2006. Meet at the Star at 8.00pm.
The Star is situated on the A62 Huddersfield Road at Scouthead, Nr Oldham. Follow the A62 Huddersfield signs from Mumps Bridge. The Star serves good homely food and a cracking pint (of orange of course!). |

While your travelling there watch out for speed cameras, after 12 years of 'angellic' driving I got caught doing 61 in a 50 last Friday.

Popeye it must be catching, on the way home from the Swan meet as you left the motorway i carried on in to Manchester and the sneaky buggers clocked me coming off the motorway, 50 in a 40, 3 points £60.00 fine Oh the joys of motoring ------------- I had to see it for my-self or i would never have believed it. |

My boss had great delight in telling me about the points as they were 'collected' in the works Citroen Berlingo van (I didnt know it went that fast), then I had the delight of reminding him of the 9 points he's accrewed in the last 18 months! On a better note who's coming to The Star in Oldham tomorrow?
