Hi guys Have got the Myrtle wood trim in my E46 coupe and want to replace it. Was wondering what everyone thought of the best colour to compliment black leather interior. I think I prefer the brushed aluminum but not sure? Cheers ------------- MRPoisson 320cd Coupe |

I have just bought a 320ci and have the brushed aluminium trim. It looks nice. Does look like a massive job though to change all the trim. Front and rear door cards, dash and centre console. I have been told that with my beige leather wood looks better, but the thought of changing it all scares me. Hi, yes the Myrtle wood does look better with beige leather. I beleive its very easy to change, theres full instructions on the web somewhere. Would you be interested in swapping my myrtle for your aluminum? I beleive the Myrtle is the most expensive ------------- MRPoisson 320cd Coupe |

May well be interested. Don't want to damage the car in any way. Would also like to see what Myrtle looks like. Also wear are you in the UK. They'll be no damage, apparently there's just a few clips. I know quite a few people whom have changed trim relatively easily. Ive also got the matching gear know in myrtle & steering wheel. im definelty interested, Im in Lancashire, bout 200 miles. I have been reading up on this and it's easy to do on the saloon, but on the coupe's you have to take all the door cards off and apart. Hi Its not a big job to take the door cards off. i'll get full instructions on how to do the job to be on the safe side if we go ahead. Also if you search for used BMWs on their web & look for beige leather, most have the myrtle wood trim & good interior pictures. I can't seem to attach them.
