bloke walks into the office at the Sunderland Echo -
'My wifes just died and I need to get her obituary in the paper. But we have been very poor and have hardly any money so I would just like to say "Marje is dead" you see I can only afford £5.' Receptionist says - ' I'm awfully sorry to hear that Sir, but £5 would not even buy you those 3 words. Let me pop back and have a word with the editor and see what we can do...(2 mins later)... ah, Sir, good news - a new special deal - for £5 you can have 6 words!' Old bloke - ' Oh thankyou so much, in that case - "Marje si dead, Metro for sale" PS - of course this is all a sick joke - if the old bloke lives in Sunderland his metro will have been nicked years ago..... |

Apparently, if my source is correct, if you are caught by a speed camera you can view your photo online. I got caught by the south wales civvys in 2001, and they flatly refused to send me the photo, they said I had to visit thier offices !
I would be suprised if you could view it online, data protection act and all that, how would they know who was requesting it ? And yes I know, I still got caught by that spoof website
