Hi,

How do you remove the side rubbers along the wings / doors on a E30? I assume one end is screwed the rest supported with clips, any one know for sure. I've had a bit of a pull and a push etc, but didn't want to start stripping out trim to get to the rear of the panel to see how they are attached.

Thanks

Mark

The rubber starts at the bottom of the car at the sill. There is a piece of plastic (which covers the front speakers) which holds it in. Take off this cover and voila!!!

Eamo,

Thanks for the reply, i don't think i described my initial question very well. It seems you were describing how to remove the door weather seal. I need to remove the rubber 'bump' strip running along the outside of the car. Thanks anyway !

It is snapped on - but I think the front door strip also has plastic nut holding it on.

yes, the door has a 10mm plastic nut on the inside back edge of it. The rest does indeed just pull off (gently!).Try and keep them as straight as possible coz once they are bent, ther'e only fit for the bin.
