Another case of, if I hadn't bought my M3 and was in the market for a car right now I would be looking at this.

Carbon Black 2004, E39 M5, just 9k miles €68k.  Wowsa.  I know that values for these things are in freefall at the moment but that is a lot of car for the money (assuming it all checks out).

I mean considering an E60 M5, 2005 is going for €137k atm.

Or that thats the same price as a well specced E90 320d Sport.

I hope an enthusiast snaps it up.  I'm sure you could knock another few K off if you were a fast mover with ready cash.

I passed that garage last night on my way back from the Point. He has a Lambo Gallardo and an AM Vantage in the window.

Phil

I love the M5's but right now I'm happy with my M3 and don't need 4 doors.  I plan on doing a few things to the car.

Have recently got Smoke tints and ccfl's.

Next week, Al at AC Car Sales is installing some Eibach pro-kit springs and a UUC SSK & DSSR.

Am looking at putting in a Carbon Air Intake and changing the exhaust from cats back possibly similar to Peppernicks system.

Finally, In the summer I hope to put in either an AP Racing or Stoptech BBK.

So I ain't bored with the M3 yet, and I got a good, low mileage example at a great price so I'm not ready to get rid of it yet.

No problem Phil.  I've seen M3's on EvoTechnik with the Eibach springs.  They basically lower the car enough so that the tyres fill the wheel arches but not too low (you know that look where the tops of the tyres are disappearing into the arches....I don't like it).

You are out in Ashbourne area?  We could have a mini-meet :)
