Hi all

I am in the process of buying a Formula Vee for hillclimbs and races in Ireland.

Are there any GB or Irish Vee racers on the forum, that could give me some hints and tips?

Get your foot on the loud pedal earlier than everyone else, and keep your foot off the brake pedal for longer than everyone else ... you'll not need any other tips.

If that doesn't work, what sort of things would you like to know?

My brother-in-law was Ulster and Irish champ in Formula Vee and FF1600. I helped him build and maintain his first couple of cars. If there was something specific you needed to know, I'll try to help.

Stephen

I "assume" you've asked on here? http://www.veecentre.com/ - http://www.veecentre.com/

or you could try the 'Racers Forum' on here? http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/ - http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

thepits I registered on ten tenths the other day and am keeping an eye on the veecentre. The ten tenths forum is fairly quiet on clubman stuff

Killian I wonder if Kersh is short for Kershaw back from kivnam

Stephen I will PM you

I bought tyres on Friday 560 Euro for a set of 4 Irish Vees use a historic Formula Ford spec

I hope to use the car on March 19th in a sprint on Tynagh Kart track. If I do not make that the Wexford hillclimbs at Bunclody on 1/2 April. The Phoenix Park races are definitely going to entered on the 12/13 August. 2001 since I raced there last.

LOL - thats if the park goes ahead!
The Vees are always great to watch in the Park. Always contact at the 1st corner esp on the 1st lap.
