well guys just home from the open track day. good day despite the rain. the morning was very wet thus very slippy. dryed up nicely in the afternoon and the slicks started to work nicely. good few cars crahed into d bankings, had one small off myself- at the end of the main straight just barely had back wheels on the grass and got stuck. one honda civic got badly damaged he didnt make it around the turn at the end of long straight at the back of the track. good few bmw's at it.

myself  m3 e30, father bmw 2002, narusa 325, tony c. e30 m3, two f reg e30 m3's think one was an evo. m5 01 or 02 not sure, 520i. e30 318is, and a few other e30's not sure what they were had no badges.

looking forward to bmw BDD! hopefully weather will be better.

narusa's (sound guy) production team was there in full force so hopefully he might have a few pics?

Its true it was a good day, despite the weather. On my runs,i managed to do 4,track was wet.It was 2 places on the track where was standig water, but closer to the end it dryed up.But few people where cought by tricky condition, few cars spun in front of me,but nothing major,no damaged where done to me ore other cars .
Before going to Open Track day i heard few rummors that, people dont behave, that they dont care about others and so on.But from my yesterdays experience, its different.Marshals where doing great job(black flaged 4 cars in my presents),people on the track where waching around them.Sure rear wheel drive cars had a lot of work to do coming out of corners .Few Nissans where the best,on entertaining big croud in grand stand,on first and second corners.
Bring on the 29th hopefully i can try my slicks then.

here few pictures, and video clip should come soon

sunday at kirkistown turned out to be a very good day out. weather was very good for march, totally dry all day, but still a bit chilly. the track day itself was a sellout without around 40 cars and very well organised by Track Skills. as it was my first proper outing in this car, and around kirkistown, took it a bit easy to begin with. only downside of the day was limping home with only one front brake pad left (oops!)

tony, ya shoulda came over and said hi, would have loved to have met ya

can't wait for mondello now
