Apologies if this is in the wrong section, I wasn't sure where best to post.

I have previously put my 318ti Compact (1999) in at the main dealer for servicing but consider it a little extravagant now the car is getting older.

So I need to find a garage, preferably a BMW specialist, in my area to do the work. The service due soon is just an oil service.

My question is, does anyone have any recommendations in my area - Rayleigh, Essex (postcode SS6). I would probably be looking in the range of Southend out to Basildon and even Chelmsford possibly.

I really want to go somewhere based on recommendation rather than just blind.
