To quote Wallace & Grommit - a cracking day out.
Below is a few pictures from the day. I'll try and get all the others sorted as soon as I can. (Hopefully, I should have a front side and back view for each car)
Does anyone want to post their bhp/torque figures, so that when I update the BMWCC website I can add the car's performance to the pictures?

Earlier start for me than normally Day was action packed as always with memories to remind us of what a great day he had cough, cough.

Nic pics Neil...Ack what the hell heres my disastarous dyno session. Just before you begin to slate it, the cars gizmos went bezerk and prevented an actual full run reading.

Here are my figures:-

6ft size 10 feet and 14st (yikes!)

oh and if your interested in the good old girls figures here they are:-

337.4 BHP @ 6485 rpm

393 Nm @ 4605 rpm

We bit more BHP and quite a bit more torque than last time - Must be BM Motors magic service, all that dancing round the car and chanting worked!

Sorry I had to go a bit early but was helping a mate move, thanks to the chap that let me in the queue early.

"Best bit about having a run is coming home to clean the car" Pete you really are one sick puppy. Is you abode a complete opposite a total mess?

Great day - long live petrol!!!!!!!!!!!

Alan the 535s torque started with a 6, yes a 6 and my jaw has been dragging along the floor ever since.

306bhp and 653Nm torque. Power is down on what it should be (328bhp) but the torque is spot on (checked with my last rolling road, which was Star Perfomance)

Hopefully getting the DMS remap "redone" next week to see if that fixes the problem - a blip just after 3000rpm. Interestingly enough I cannot notice it on the road at all!!

The last time I saw a torque figure like that, it had propellors and floated!

Looked like a good day, shame I missed it but had a fireworks display on. Maybe I'll make the next meet hopefully, if I'm up in Scotland.

My reads as

296bhp @ 6305 rpms...much lower than the one I did down south. Torque was down as well at 363Nm...which equates to a standard set up However, like Steve I don't feel less powered when on the road..

DMS are gonna be busy next week.

Well as seems to the norm for me these days. My 325i sport on route decided to throw a bitch fit just as we left the tolls on the forth road bridge, and died on me.

Managed to get it started on limped to Falkland. Had to wait for everyone to have their run before the mechanic could look at it for me. Anwhen he did guess what, yip the problem disapeared like the wife when it's her round.

Put it on the rollers and showed the fuelling to be 0.1% instead of 1.5-2%.

The figures where quite encouraging given the lack of proper fuelling.

Standard should be 171BHP
Actual was 169.3BHP @ 6055rpm

Torque was 213.4Nm @ 4635rpm

Idling rough afterwards though .... took the plugs out to check them and they look like they are due for replacement - I hope that's all it is!

Besides the rolling road was good. My little baby performed very well; he hasn't lost power at all after almost 215K kms (over 130k miles) and 8 years in my hands... The older he gets, the better he does the job

That'll be me then, no probs, I wasn't in a hurry.

My results:

BHP: 325.4 @ 7325 rpm
Torque: 352.6 NM @ 5740rpm.

BHP up 1 since last RR and torque down (was 367 NM before)

Happy enough and as always, you can't read too much into the figures.

Q for M3 Evo runners, looks like mine was done in 5th gear(260.5 km/h = 161mph!!) was yours? Don't think this would affect results except showing high wheel drag???

Thanks for a great day.

the M3's gear ratios in 5th allow a 1:1 with the rollers this is the perfect setup to have

btw thats a very respectable output

due to the car idling rough i suspect there may also have been some missfiring if the plugs were looking a bit past it

the throttle response will feel much crisper now? and i dare say like pete says u probably have got your ponnies back and maybe more than 4 of em ;)

Just thought I would nip on and see how the day went. Glad to hear it al went well, despite some Engine MAnagement problems, Tiko and Stevie! Oh dear. And also, to post my figures up again.

321bhp @ 7620rpm and

340nm @ 3490rpm

Mine was done in 5th too and Max speed was 268.1km/h whatever that works out to be in mph.

That was with a Falkland Superchip and Dave F induction. Jamie, is your the one with the Custom Exhaust?

Some MIGHTY impressive figures indeed there, rock on. Keep tearing up the Tarmac boys, I will look after the Seas! lol

Looks like my results were pretty good then,(325,352), yours seems to benefit from the extra revs.
Kind of "custom"- I've always liked and had Mongoose exhausts on other car, they are made by Blueflame exhausts (but think they're not nowadays) So I contacted Collins Performance for Mongoose and told they only do one for the 3.0 M3, not the Evo, something to do with the exhaust fouling the rear tyre and suspension.
I contacted Blueflame and they said that was true and they needed a car to use as a template, so I volunteered, now thay can sell M3 Evo exhausts, it's my car that is in their advert piccy!

Tubs...according to just about every performance centre it is impossible to get a true reading of the M3's on a rolling road. Saying that I was 296bhp @ 6305rpm, the car redlines at 7900rpm...

This was my reservation when booking up to come along to the session , however was assured by members that rolling road would handle it no problemo

My car performance wise is std..just the DMS remapp. Have plans to do some more mods in the future...

The e-mail sent couple of days ago?

Thats why I wrote that it's impossible to get an accurate reading on the rollers with our cars. If things went well I think the car would've hit its expected max...hopefully

sorry for dragging old posts up but having been awol for a month or so I'm trying to catch up

just dragged my print out from the car to remind myself and so I could share with you all.

372.1 BHP @ 5825 RPM

488.7 Nm @ 3555 RPM

that is when the cars gizmos kicked in but speaking to the mechanic and looking at the chart the car was still climbing all the way towards its claimed 400 BHP. tbh I'm not too bothered about not getting full run because I know the car peforms on the road the way it should and don't believe for one moment that it's down on power

as for my seat, haven't phoned trimline yet for quote but intend on doing that sometime this week

Great photos

Pleased that Gary managed to sort out the problem with car.

At the beginning I thought that he was waiting for me on the bridge, as all others of the our compania "took off", as it takes me longer to pay the Toll bridge....see LHD car...
