Phoned up for a ruby earlier, collect only place (should have got a deliverd one - but it isnt as nice). Went to pick it up, got home - put it on worktop and my other half said 'Oh, it's leaking a bit' ..... yep, went outside and had a look through the car wndow. I'd sat the bag on the passenger seat, a nice light leather seat with a lovely patch of bright yellow oily curry dribble... Tried Mer leather cleaner, tried Cif oxygel, then tried a stain devil stick (except its for fabric) first two did squat, stain devil removed a bit but also removed a bit of seat colour. Not a happy bunny - anyone have any ideas? A mate is supposed to be getting me some stuff from his work for shifting things like this but wouldn't mind some more advice.. ------------- V reg Rustbucket Merc C220 Cdi estate J Reg Saab 900i 16v '63 Ford Anglia 105e deluxe R reg Honda PC50 moped.. try a peice of normal hand soap,work it in with your finger and wipe off with a dry cloth several times. (if this don't shift it try a naan bread it gets it of my plate) ------------- e39,1200 bandit cooper S, Z3 topazbleu |

Knew I should have got a bhuna... Going to keep a tray/box in the car from now on. Oh well.. Apparenty, pure soap flakes are really good for cleaning leather.
Have a hunt around the net, I've read this a few times, so you're bound to drag up some info from somewhere. Unlucky mate, hope you can clean it up!

| Not sure if I'm right here but as far as I am aware if the shop, or whatever, provide a bag that is not suitable for the purpose then they are liable for the damage caused. |

They did provied one of them plastic blue bags, but it must have had a small hole in it. Anyway - good news, the power of my other halfs backside has wiped it clean (checked it yesterday and stain had gone). Bit relieved. Thanks for all the comments, could post these in the 'how to' section for anyone else that needs them.
