Hi All,

My tax is due at the end of this month and according to the tax form it hasn't gone up at all. I read in a paper that this was a mistake due the fact that they were printed before the budget and a lot of people are finding that they have to pay more when they get to the post office.
Can anyone shed some light on this? How much should mine be?

Cheers

I think that's totally NOT ON!! If they have made the mistake then they should take responsibilty for it and we should pay what it says on our V11's. its like when say tesco overcharge you, they give you the money back and you can keep the product if they get the prices wrong, eg, 99p on the shelf, £1.99 at the till, etc.

Just like if you wrote a £50 cheque but put the dot in the wrong place or not at all and someone cashes it - it would be your own fault! Same applies to the Car Tax - thier error thier problem.

F****** prats!!

Wrong mate.

The shop does not have to sell you the item at all.  They just cannot sell it at the higher price.

Also a cheque has words and numbers so you you would have to be a complete prat to get both wrong.

might not be strictly correct in what i said but u get my point!

and anyway, the disclaimer wasn't printed on the V11 about possible price changes.

(btw, i was rather irrate yesterday)
