Has anyone fitted a fixed flange witter tow bar to the X3 Sport, does the rear spoiler need to be drastically cut, any help appreciated.

Thanks, Derek

To anyone with an X3 with an aero kit wishing to fit a tow bar, after a bit of headscratching, the lower skirt needs a hole , cut with the rotary cutter in drill, the fiddeley part is fitting the swan neck, fit through drilled hole and fiddle the spacers in and bolt up, not too bad a job, cant see the bar or drilled hole, all in a neat looking Job, even if i say so myself.

Cheers, Derekbeerchug

Welcome to the forum Derek. Not sure if we've got many X3 drivers yet... but hopefully someone will pop up with answer.

Think StuB had one, but got rid maybe?

Does Witter have a website/email address? If they make one for the X3, surely they will have fitting instructions/tech fitting staff that can advise?

s'all I can think off at the mo.

BTW, welcome to the forum
