can anyone help me on the labour prices that BMW dealers use - are they standard or do they change from each dealership, if so where should I try?

I also need a price on a BMW engine for my 320d SE 2002 can anyone help?

Dealer pricing for labour can vary a lot as you go around the country, Parts prices tend to be more stable.

Give http://www.fabdirect.com - www.fabdirect.com a call and see if they have any engines in, unless you want a real fright and ask the dealer for a price.

Also unless the engine is totally knacked, cracked head, block damaged id be looking for a half engine.

Where in the NWest are you as people may be able to give you a few names of good places to use. BlueBell at Wilmslow and Benhams at Stockport both give discount to BMWCC members on servicing. Also I think they both offer the Plus 4 scheme. BlueBell also have a place in Altrincham on Moss lane that is next to the Football club where they specialise in cars over 4 years old and their labour rates are even lower than Plus 4.
