Anyone know if the 540i (E34 1994) has a LSD ? I notice the bently manual says different oils for both. Going to get my oil changed in the diff tomorrow, want to get the right oil ! My car has ASC if that is any help !
Also, what gearbox is on my motor, I know its Automatic 5 speed, but that's about it. The bently manual talks about all sorts of auto boxes, but does not say which one was fitted to which car !!! Gaaah!
I've done a quick search, but found zippo !

the 1994 e34 540 is listed as having an LSD but do you have your last seven digits of the VIN so i can see if your car has it? you can pm me if you prefer
