I recently moved from e32 to e38 as those on the register will know, also I have a "thing" about lowering large saloon cars, however every rule is made to be broken and I am going to do just that!

I found a snapped rear coil on the O/S rear so as my car has EDC and self levelling, I was looking at £176.40 inc VAT for two new rears springs, but a set of Eibach's were £186 for all four. As those in the know will tell Eibach make the Alpina springs for BMW, so after a call to them I had sorted out what was needed and found a very nice place in Strathaven called www.motorsportworld.co.uk to supply them as Eibach don't direct sell.

The effect will lower the car 30mm front 25mm rear (approx) and I will strip out the rear DSP shelf sail panels and electric rear seats myself to save garage labour, so anticipate a bill of £30 for fitting them.

I am hoping that my powerflex bushes will arrive in time too as I would have Matt at the garage fit the upper arm bushes at this point as well and really tighten up the big 7
