I have recently taken delivery of a new M3 convertable and seem to have a problem when accelerating in first gear. the problem occurs for example when you are say coasting at about 5mph towards a roundabout or junction and decide to put into first gear and dump the clutch for a quick pull away, the car Kngaroo’s and you have to ease of the accelerator to bring it under control  the dealer says it may need a software upgrade but as its only 3 weeks old he dismissed that idea. on the second test drive he drove it far too easy and said not to use first gear that often (yea wright) the tecnicains said ist the way the self adjusting clutch works. This means you cant dump the clutch for a quick get away. I have owned all M3 in the past and not had this problem. Has anyone eles had this problem? or know what it might be?
