I noticed on Ebay there are a couple of BMW bluetooth modules for sale. Is retrofitting one of these a DIY job or is there likely to be a lot of other cables and ECU setup involved?

My car is a 2000 318i E46 saloon.

If Bluetooth is not originally installed on a pre facelift E46 it's a total nightmare...
