Hello all,

I've just registered on here, after buying my first BMW.

This particular BMW however, isn't your average.

It harnesses a 350bhp Cosworth engine, and takes advantage of M3 running gear.

Anyway, a few pictures to come....

I'll be over at Falksters house again this weekend to get it polished up hopefully (did his M3 last time i was over, and just found the pictures i took on here!)

Adam

Hello Adam and welcome to the forum.

I bet the cars a bit of a handfull especially in the wet.

Be carefull though, you'll upset a few purists with a Cosworth powered BMW!

Interesting car Adam...what sort of performance stats does that give?

It'll get 0-60 in around 5 seconds... and will go off the clock, estimated 180mph top speed.

Hello chum, and welcome to the forum. I gotta admit, I'm semi purist but also all for a good job, well done by an enthusiast/professional and it all looks good! (plus I'm a bit of a softy for the old mk1 & 2 escorts with whatever cossie's or V8's you can shoe horn into them!!) so it's still a thumbs up from me. Must be a great drive. I think you have the best match though! A BMW chassis with a high power cossie engine, will always handle better than an XR3i with an M3 lump in it LOL! although of course, I'm not tarring cosworth with the ford brush as they did produce a cracking lump for the old E190 evo Mercs and as well as developing some nice motors for countless rallies too!

Cheers for sharing!

Mike

Bang on Mike, Im also a purist and was worried for Adam when I heard he had bought the car thinking there will always be something wrong with it.....teething troubles 2 years down the line but the car is put together very well and goes like a train. Not quite a sleeper but took a few people by suprise. Young lads in new Astra VXR....all they heard as we passed, at 60/70, was wheel spinning.
