As every 6 series owner knows, the washer jets on the headlights always seem to leak. I have herd that there is a fix for this, and seeing that i am going to be removing my headlamps on Wednesday I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to rectify this. My knowledge so far is that a non return valve has to be connected to the tube supplying the jet with water, but i don't know what these look like, where i could get them from and how big a job i am letting myself in for.

Anyhelp is most apreciated

You can get them from Motormec. If you have the BMW ETK parts catalogue CD, it is a simple matter to look it up. You will find it under "Electrical System", oddly enough.

If not, I can give you the relevant part number when I get home...

Hopefully your headlight wipers still work....
