if it gets reslly quiet and you cant decide what colour to respray your car........Heres a topical tip.... first cover the whole car in cling film then spray it .If you dont like the colour then just peel it of and start again.....

Surely us South Westerners could arrange a meet sometime. The South West have regular pubs meets 1st Thursday in every month. We meet at the Full Quart on the A370 Bristol to W-S-M Rd see the Car Club Mag for dates of other meets for next year ------------- Ron Parish (E30 Register Chairman) |

Ron, at last a bit of sense to stop this degeneration. I'd love to come to the Bristol meets but unfortunately I'm restricted by two things; I work shifts and chances are I'll be working at the time of the meet. The other is a trip to Bristol is a fair chunk of my 1500 mile a year limit for the insurance on my M5. I've just changed my 540i Touring for an E46 M3. I'm still a bit stunned. Its certainly a pleasant change not to hear a V8 roaring faster than the car's moving, thanks to the steptronic torque converter. But - can anyone explain the SMG gearbox....? |

I've spent many great holidays in the Republic, Horse, esp Kerry but also Galway. However, on the last trip (July - Aug 01) it was raining when we got to Dublin airport & was still raining when we left there 2 weeks later, having rained everyday in between.... But we've been in September & had hot beach weather! & enjoyment of the craic is not weather - dependent.

I used to live near Bude. Which was nice. Farmers have BMW's. ------------- Autos are easy. Its the steering thats hard. |

The 540i Touring which I changed for a 3 series this month failed its MOT on CATS last year. Bill £2000+. BMW (GB) paid 1/2 the parts costs due to the relatively low age & mileage. |

This might sound sad, but does anyone know if the E46 M3 toolkit is meant to not include wheel-changing equipment (there being no spare wheel - on-board, at least). Any ideas re the best cleaner/preserver to use on nappa leather?

As you live you in Bath why not join us at our monthly meets at the Full Quart on the Bristol W-S-M A370. We that is the BMW Car Club meet on the first Thursday of each month. W-S-M = Western-Super-Mud, a quaint seaside town, down on the Bristol Channel, where it is rumoured (amongst the clinically insane) by the locals, that on a good day it is actually possible to see water lapping around its pier.
Personally, I don't believe it. Living in Cheltenham as I do, it could be mistaken for our local beach. Sand I've seen, lots of sand I've seen, lots and lots of sand... you get the idea. Water? Only from the sky!! (Sorry Ron - only joking!) 
Luckily you don't have to go near it to get to the pub-meet!!  ------------- Cats know your every thought. But don't care. |
