Also, my '95 730 doesn't have a CD changer. it is fully prepared with bracket and plug, but the cheapest price i've had from a specialist is £275 + VAT. is it possible to buy a non BMW changer and an adaptor plug?

Do what I did and get an MP3 head unit. As long as you have a PC, I've found this MUCH better than my old 6 disc changer. -------------
