Wha???

Mythbusters springs to mind where they tried to launch a weight as far as they could using bungee ropes and an american goalpost.. It flew back and nearly crowned them! I was expecting her to fly off at some point or hit the ground pretty hard!

Fabric-Covered Latex Rubber Cord
EPDM Rubber Cord and Polyurethane Cord
EPDM Rubber Strap

Build your own

From McMaster-Carr catalog http://www.mcmaster.com/index.asp - http://www.mcmaster.com/index.asp

If it is not in that catalog it does not exist

Fabric-Covered Latex Rubber Cord— Also known as Bungee cord, this cord will stretch up to twice its length. It consists of a stretchy latex rubber core that is covered with woven fabric to prevent abrasion to the core even when stretched. Choose from polypropylene, UV-resistant polypropylene, and nylon fabric covers.

Polypropylene cover is the economical choice. It is multicolored (unless noted).
UV-resistant polypropylene cover is ideal for outdoor use. Color is white with blue specks.
Nylon cover is more durable than polypropylene and resists salt water and chlorine. Color is white with black specks.
Please specify length from those listed; continuous lengths greater than the longest length listed are also available. For  3/32",  1/8", and  3/16" diameter cord with polypropylene cover, please also specify color: black, blue, green, red, or yellow.
EPDM Rubber Cord and Strap— Are weather resistant and stretch up to three times their length. Color is black. Strap has a larger surface area for holding items down.
Please specify length from those listed; continuous lengths greater than the longest length listed are also available.
Polyurethane Cord— The premium choice. It is nonmarring and stands up to oils, ozone, salt water, and many chemicals. Cord stretches up to two times its length and has a good "memory" that prevents it from permanently stretching.
Please specify length from those listed; continuous lengths greater than the longest length listed are also available. Please also specify color: black, blue, red, or yellow.
