below is a starter for forum abbreviations etc...

GENERAL FORUM/OTHER GENERIC

AFAIK = As Far As I Know
BTW = By the way

CBA = Can't Be Ar**d
FTF = Face to Face

FTW = For the Win
FUBAR = F...ed/Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition/Repair
FYI = For your information
GMTA = Great Minds Think Alike
IIRC = If I recall/ remember correctly
IME = in my experience
IMHO = In my humble opinion
IMLE = in my limited experience
IMO = In my opinion
IOW = In other words
JK = Just Kidding
JW = Just wondering
KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid
LMAO = Laughing my ass off
LOL = Laugh out loud
NBD = No Big Deal
OMG = Oh My God

OIC = Oh I see
OP = Original Post

PEBKAC = Problem exists between keyboard and chair

PITA = Pain in the A...
POV = Point of View
QQ = Quick Question

ROFL = Rolling on the floor laughing

RTFM = Read The F.....g Manual

SOHB = Sense of Humour Bypass

STF = Scratched To F…
SNAFU = Situation Normal, All F....d Up
TANSTAAFL = There ain't no such thing as a free lunch
TBH = To be honest

TFIF = Thank F**k it’s Friday
TMBW = They Might Be Watching!

TMI = Too Much Information
WTF = What the f...
YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary

WIN = Work Induced Narcolepsy
WYSIWYG = What You See Is What You Get

STF = Scratched To F___  (an abbreviation used by opticians but could be applied to anything with glass/plastic)

jack thats what alt tab buttons are for. or have your foot on the cable at the back of the computer and as soon as someone comes your way pull out the power.

At my work all internet usage is monitored and access quite restricted, this site used to be restricted but for some reason became available. 

Its really quite difficult, apparently, to get through to dodgy sites but some folk have managed it. A number of them, mostly halfwit temps, have been sacked over the past few years!!!

we have a software program called mimesweeper monitors emails as well. it block sites that we require for work such as trane and york at times
