Don't think there'll be much of a show if the stories in the press are true. None of the bigger companies are planning to make an appearance saying that our show is second division. Just tells you what the manufacturers think of us.

D'ya reckon they'd give us a club stand?

We could always try. If they are struggling for cars they just might.

We would have a better stand than most of the manufactuers,if we could get in.

Bloody Fords/Vulva's etc..

Now that would be impressive. I bet alot of the other regions couldn't claim that they'd a stand at the National Motor Show! Is it not a bit short notice on their part?

Would the Clubs main office help out would they? Good thought.

For Friday 14th Motorshow.

Anyone else fancy popping down?

Gary, if you're in court stitching up innocents again, what time is likely to suit you? Early evening? 1800hrs @ SECC?

Also, if we book ahead, we save a couple of quid each - mail me if you want me to get a ticket for you - live show is at 1930hrs, tickets @ £14 (£16 on the door).

Show was even smaller than last year Not a great deal of interest on display. Highlights were prolly the salesman from Murray starting up the Aston Martin Vanquish and blipping the throttle and the splendidly silly MG. Was somewhat nonplussed by the Bentley GT - proportions looked very odd in the flesh.

Live show was cracking tho' with good performances from Terry Grant and Russ Swift (even allowing for Russ stacking a Mini Cooper S into the concrete barrier 1st time I've ever seen Russ hit anything during one of his displays)

I had a cracking weekend up in yur neck of the woods, except for the puncture as I left the hotel £107 for a new tyre.

Ur all better off going to Essen. Superb Tuning show, with so many modded cars. All the car tuners are there.

True enough... but me German's a bit rusty and funds are being coralled in preparation for the festive season...

Show was rubbish - If I'd known I would have left the missus in the car and saved a tenner! Last time intil they start attracting the big players again...

Suzuki Rocket girls decent eye candy (in a sort of obvious & tad rough way) but £20 gets you more down Leith docks (so I'm told)..  Coming to think of it I'm sure I recognised some of those.. (I would like to say faces but I never got that far...)

Sat in the so-called MG supercar and was underwhelmed. The sitting position is only good for track as you can't see past the dash line.. DTM maybe but not something I would like to chuck around a B-road or track... I've seen similar trims in tricked-out Novas and few of them would cost 7k let alone 70..

It was like paying money to look round Reg Vardy's or Arnold Clarke's. Last time I checked I didn't haver to pay to get into Car Zone..?*$! & you can at least sit in the cars on offer there.

All respect to Russ swift but I'd rather choose to go see his performance minus the used car sales plot.
