The OBC on my car is going 'boing' everytime I turn on the ignition and showing -22.7 Farenheit on the display, removed the brakecooling duct and found this........

Anyone know if repair kits or replacement plugs are avaliable from stealers? Or is cut off bin and used bullet connectors?

The yellow bit should unclip and may be reuseable. If not a replacement is available.

The black plastic/rubber connectors are available.

look at 61 15 - 1st, 3rd and 7th drawings on realoem.

Not sure how they are soldered on when they are encapsulated in rubber, but no doubt there is a way.

PS Thanks for the tracking info. It was a great help.

The temp sensors are regularly on ebay for only a couple of quid I keep meaning to get one as mine reads 167 degrees F. I know global warming is taking effect but somehow I think this is wrong.

Just looked here you go

Thanks guy's......

@ Dazzieboy.... my temp sensor is not quite the same as that one on ebay, does not have the fly lead on the back of the sensor, wiring plug fits directly into back of sensor, realoem shows same as ebay in picture......

On my Evo2 I went to a breakers and swipped a headlamp connector from another E30 and soldered it in.

But the bullet connections for those connectors are available from BMW, but the partsmen never know where to find them on thier computers. They are also in different lengths and widths too.
