Welcome Kev's 328...

I was not aware that any E30 came with a eletronic air-con system? I thought that the E36 was the first 3 series to come with this system?

If this is so...can one of the admin guys move it to the 3 Series forum for better results...Someone will be able to help...

Hiya, I put a post up on the 3 series, My 99 318i E36 had a flickering digital air con display, I was kindly given this link, tried it and worked prefect and still is, don't know if it exactly the same as your E30 but defo worth a shot, cost me exactly 50cent to replace te capacititor- the main culprit of these problems.

Hi every one my 328i air con unit isn't functioning properly the fans won't kick in and the little fan underneath the unit stays on all the time when the cars turned off. The display use to dim all the time and i have fitted a new resister and this has now stopped it dimming does any one know what is up many thanks
