It'll be an excuse to visit my dear white-haired old Mum in your neck of the woods, she lives in Allerton.

Used to drink in Woolton in my youth, the Village Inn, the Elephant, Coach And Horses, brilliant place. My local used to be the Allerton (or the Manor as it was then). Small world isn't it?

The Manor was OK, you were searched for weapons on the way in, if you didn't have any, there was always a selection behind the bar you could borrow!! Can't remember the White Horse or the Cobden, must have tried them sometime in my youth. What was the pub behind the flats opposite Allerton golf course called?
Anyway, just got latest straight 6, should be OK for the 16th anyone else going?
