My car suffers from handbag scratches from the previous lady owner, which are annoying me especially noticeable when I wash and polish the car.
To the knowledgeable detailers on here
What is the best method of removing these light scratches?
I've tried using Scratch X but, the scratches re-appear over time again. I've heard that using a PC can remove these, what are the proven best products which could be used on a Montreal Blue BMW to totally remove these?
TIA rob

Before you try any products, make sure you arent adding to the problem - check to see whether your handbag isnt causing scratches too.

if you are doing it by hand i would buy some Menzerna Final Polish and some german applicators (Both available from polished bliss)

http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pb81polish.html - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pb81polish.html

Use the white side of pad and work the polish in well (hard work)

this should take out minor scratches

If it don`t then you will need some sort of machine

I have some of above that i could maybe send a sample down to you to try

thanks for that Pete

I will take photos of the area which requires attention and post up later to illustrate what I'm dealing with..

on a side note; What roughly are the cost implications of a highly recommended detailer doing this for me?
