Well after much deliberation I've just ordered a new pair of wings & a front bumper cover, all adding up to £1500 with vat.

Although the bodyshop are confident the wings aren't in bad shape & could be made perfect I'd just keep wondering if I should have got new ones. When the old ones are off & stripped we'll see what state they're in - could always repair them & sell them on with pics to prove the condition.

The front bumper cover (Highline model) was a painful £179. Mine was cracked on the LH corner & both ends were lifting due to the metal reinforcing plate corroding. They've deteriorated quite a bit since the TBMW photoshoot back in March '06 & they were lifting then.

With the wings, bonnet, front spoiler & bumpers all being painted I'm going to see what price a full respray will be.
