I'm gonna try Toyo Proxes next time, a friend of mine who drive his P1 quite hard got nearly 20k miles form a set with great grip.

Toyo Proxes on mine, fairly low mileage so don't know about the wear rate, but once scrubbed in there's plenty of grip - much better than the Avons it had on when it arrived, which had a sort of 'can you guess what I'm going to do next?' feel, especially in the wet. ------------- 88 E30 M3 Lachs silver RHD 76 Kawa Z650 77 Kawa Z1R 82 Ducati 900SS |

I have heard that Goodyear F1 GSD 3 tyres are in the process of being phased out, to be replaced by the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric boots, can anyone in the know confirm this?  ------------- |
