Folks,

Please remember that as a courtesy to other users / members / car owners, it is conventional to remove number plate information from the images you post on this forum and on the wider internet. There have been an increasing number of instances where this has not been happening. Get editing please...

Cheers,

Duncan

you would get a lot of little robbers looking at these forums and checking cars when they are showing licence plates

Robbers or not they're kinda shagged in this country as plates are non transferable...  but out of courtesy it's a nice thing to do, except maybe on a nice e28 with a classic black on red irish plate ??!!??

Never have really understood this.

Any baddie can get as many number plates as he wants by popping down to
his local dealer or indie and sitting outside for half an hour ... likewise
sitting on the corner of Kings Road.

As long as you don't tell people where the car lives what is the harm? If they
want to clone a plate they are unlikely to do it from a very specialised car
such as some that are here.

For the record, when i get mine in a few weeks, if anyone ever takes a pic of
it, feel free to show the plate :-)

Its courtesy. You may be happy showing pics with your plate but others may not be happy with you showing pics of their plate irrespective of any possible implications.

Did a search for ace style plates and came up with these guys...  They've the plate you described, however if you're 635CSi came from Dublin she would have had the proper Ace (Chrome on Black) plates from new.   http://www.pl8s.co.uk/page3.html - http://www.pl8s.co.uk/page3.html
