a mate has got a 635 csi. i think its a w reg, only done about 80 000 kms. its left hand drive, body needs a bit of work, engine starts no probs.it would be a good project for someone.he wants about £200 gives a shout if anyone is interested

E12 or E28 base? Manual or auto?   Sport or Comfort Interior?  Leather or velour? Wheels & tyres?

TBH, the biggest problem is the location.  Even for me, it's four hours plus each way, but depending on the answrs to the questions above, it may be worthwhile.

If it's a W-plate, then it will be E-12 "Series 1", with a one-piece rear bumper, and a 3453cc engine.

i think it would be the e12, its manual, cloth interior, it has got wheels probably need tyres i will try and get up to see him at the weekend and take some photos

he recons it has a broken front spring you would need to get or make a battery box the front bumper is held on with bungee strap if your interested  or need to know more gives a shout i think it would be worth saving but its up to yourselves
