Hi there. I know it's not a BMW topic yet, but have BMW ever thought of buying Jaguar (and Land Rover)? Bearing in mind the fantastic job they've done with Mini

Besides, Jaguar owners would rather see Jaguar be bought by BMW than any other non prestigious brands. Read the posts of this link

Just a thought anyway...

I certianly think Jaguar would benefit more from being built on a BMW chassis rather than a Ford one and like you mentioned, the prestige marque would be better suited blended to a beemer rather than having Ford switchgear and interior (though I think Ford have got better in this area but still not up to BMW standards)

Watch this space, maybe BMW are waiting until the right price comes along.

A guy at work hs a fully restored TR4a and even he, a full on purist likes the new design. Just like they revived the mini, BMW could be onto a winner here.
