What are they? 16"?

You might be thinking of the 18" parallels that were on 540i Sport and 7 series Sports?

Another member here bought a set for i think 300sterling without tyres and they do indeed come from an E39 sport and have a wider rim on the back..

The back ones are.

The Sport has 255s on the back and 225s on the front.
