Right, i'm best man for a wedding in march and the groom (my nephew) want's my sad (some might say, i don't ) e34 silver 518 as the bridesmaid car. They have a silver 1939 beaufort (whatever that is) for the bride. They liked my suggestion for a totally silver BM wedding. Anyone willing to offer services or ideas appreciated.

No, just cheap. Thought this could be a thing to make the papers if organised right and what better present could i give them than an entourage of e34's

Depending on how many cars you need, try to round up an example of each generation of 5 series - e.g. e12, e28, e34, e39, e60, etc.

I deleted that post.
Initially I was thinking that you were looking for a 518i but then realised you have one.

I've got a silver E60.  Pity I'm on the other side of the Irish sea though.

Pass on my best wishes to the happy couple, I've been married just over 2 months now and I've only just got used to typing with this ring on my finger!

the beaufort is a ford, absolutely stunning looking car, a friend of mine used one for their wedding. I have a photo of it somewhere.

Beaforts are kit cars based on either Sierra's or Cortinas.  You can tell which old ford it is based on by looking at the exposed front suspension.

That's what I was looking at when we were looking for wedding cars.

I was more interested in the oily bits under the bonnet rather than the insides of Mercs and Jags etc.

We used a 740 (E38) in silver for my sisters wedding and it was superb-looked the business all decked out n shiny.

Make sure everyones strapped in though.....2 bridesmaids plus bride in dresses on leather rear seats makes for fun when cornering.

bricking it just a little
