Was going to buy chrome exhaust tips for my car but decided to clean up what I had first.  Turns out they are chrome but were just badly neglected.  quick clean then polish using meguiars metal polish brought them back to life.  Very happy with the results.

Will post up pics tomorrow.

I did mine with Autoglym Metal polish and they look really good.  Some of the stuff was quite difficult to get off and there is still some on the underside on my tail pipes.  It's like baked on stuff, like what you get on the inside of ovens and it just about as difficult to clean off.

What did you clean them with before the Megs polish?

Andrew

Just used the Meguiars Gold Class car shampoo and a cloth.  cam e up pretty good with that then dried it and used the metal polish afterwards.
