with some existing members asking again about a go-kart event and the fact that we've so many new members appearing we thought it was about time that we tried to host a race day.
we're suggesting Sunday 16 March 2008 to be hosted at the Cambuslang branch of http://scotkart.co.uk/index.php?sec=facilities_ca - Scotkart weekend race format is the Grand Prix event which requires a minimum of 20 people and involves practice laps, a series of heats and if you're good enough then it's onto the final and all this for £45 inc. I will require full payment for this event before I can add your name to the list, last entries must be received on or before 02 March 2008 (Ashoka Meet) which should give me enough time to finalise arrangements so If you want to participate in this event PM me your details (full name and contact number)ASAP and we can arrange payment. this event is open to family, friends and workmates. Rather leave it as is - sticky it in Feb nearer the time of the event. 5 signed up so far, 15 still required. Let's have some more wallets doing the talking - hopefully there'll be a wee run of sign-ups after the Jan paypackets hit the banks  -------------

right that's the gokarts booked, unfortunately because we've left it so late the only time I could get was 3pm.

right folks:
event has been confirmed, meet for 2.30pm Sunday 16th March (3pm start) Scot Kart, CAMBUSLANG for the hard of hearing
£40 per driver (£5 refunded to everyone who's paid at event) F1 GP race format: practice laps, 2 double length races,extra long final for all drivers & medal presentation. this format offers the same amount of racing as the Grand Prix but in a shorter time period btw I had no choice of starting time or race format, having to leave it so late to book I had to take what was on offer. the scottish league cup is taking place at Hampden on the same day with a 3 o'clock kick off so roads will be busier than usual so make sure you leave enough time to travel http://www.scotkart.co.uk/index.php?sec=directions_ca - directions can be had here ------------- ///2000 E39 M5 Imola Red/// NO MORE una volta lei ha avuto l'italiano lei non andrą mai tedesco di nuovo haha |
